GIRLBAND: Production Designer Wanted!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Production Designer to join our team, to design the pilot episode of a brand new sitcom: GIRLBAND, written by award winning comedy writer/performers Those Three Girls.
GIRLBAND is a heartwarming sitcom that centres around three obsessive fans of a long-forgotten 90’s pop band: Girlband. The sitcom celebrates the underdog, taking an affectionate look at those who dedicate their lives to fandom.
JENNY and DEBRA are the founding members of the last surviving fan club of long-forgotten nineties pop trio, Girlband. The band split up 15 years ago, but a true fan never forgets, and JENNY and DEBRA have continued to hold weekly meetings in the fan club headquarters as they approach middle age. As the women celebrate their 900th meeting, their worlds are about to be turned upside down by the arrival of an unexpected new member.
We are filming over four days (30th June – 3rd July 2016) on location in a house in London, with a day to set up prior to turn over (29th June).
There are some fantastic spaces to design for the project and we are looking for someone to really go to town with the design.
We have raised a small budget on Kickstarter in order to cover department budgets, expenses and ensure everyone is really well fed.
Please email our Producer Lucy at email@example.com with the subject line “Production Designer – (your name)“. Please tell us a little bit about yourself and your experience and attach a CV and links to relevant work.
